This course introduces learners to the essential skills and knowledge required in the catering industry, with a focus on the professional preparation and service of food and beverages. Students will learn the various food preparation methods, menu planning, kitchen safety, hygiene, and equipment maintenance. Additionally, the course covers the principles of food costing and the role of catering in different establishments such as restaurants, hotels, and outdoor catering.
